D\u00fczenleme ve y\u00fcnr\u00fctme kurulundan yap\u0131lan a\u00e7\u0131klamada, &#8220;Sempozyum bizlere, anavatan\u0131 Anadolu olan zeytinin tarihsel geli\u015fimini irdeleme, bilimsel-teknolojik ilerlemeyi daha da b\u00fcy\u00fck ivme ile sa\u011flama sorumlulu\u011funu vermektedir. Sempozyum ve sergide, sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn temel ta\u015flar\u0131 olan \u00fcreticiler, sanayiciler, birlikler ile bu alanda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmakta olan kamusal kurum, kurulu\u015flar\u0131n ve ilgili \u00f6rg\u00fctlerin temsilcileriyle, uzmanlar, akademisyenler bir araya gelerek, bilimsel ve teknolojik alandaki geli\u015fmelerin \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda bulundu\u011fumuz konumun ve sorunlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n ulusal boyutta ele al\u0131nmas\u0131 sa\u011flanacak, sekt\u00f6r\u00fcn daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ve verimli olmas\u0131na katk\u0131da bulunacak, ulusal ve sekt\u00f6rel stratejik hedeflerimiz belirlenecektir&#8221; denildi. Yery\u00fcz\u00fcnde hi\u00e7 bir kimyasal i\u015fleme gerektirmeden \u00fcretilen ve do\u011frudan bir meyve suyu gibi t\u00fcketilen yegane meyve ya\u011f\u0131n\u0131n zeytinya\u011f\u0131 oldu\u011fu vurgulanan a\u00e7\u0131klamada, sempozyumun an temas\u0131n\u0131n zeytin, zeytinya\u011f\u0131 ve zeytin fidanc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131 belirtildi.
