E\u00dc Ziraat Fak\u00fcltesi Bah\u00e7e Bitkileri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc&#8217;nden Prof. Dr. Uygun Aksoy, Metil Bromid (MBr)&#8217;in kullan\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131n 2007 y\u0131l\u0131nda T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de tamamen yasaklanaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirterek, &#8220;Amac\u0131m\u0131z incir sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde MBr&#8217;ye alternatif bulmakt\u0131r&#8221; diye konu\u015ftu. \u0130ncirin g\u00fcncelle\u015ftirilmesinde yo\u011fun kullan\u0131lan MBr gaz\u0131 ozonun par\u00e7alanmas\u0131na neden oluyor. Bu sebeple D\u00fcnya Bankas\u0131 \u00f6nderli\u011finde MBr yasaklanmas\u0131na y\u00f6nelik proje haz\u0131rland\u0131. Birle\u015fik Milletlerin (BM) de destekledi\u011fi bu projeye g\u00f6re T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de 2007 y\u0131l\u0131na, d\u00fcnyada ise 2015 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar MBr yava\u015f yava\u015f kullan\u0131mdan kald\u0131r\u0131lacak. Tar\u0131m Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131&#8217;n\u0131n proje kapsam\u0131nda baz\u0131 giri\u015fimlerde bulundu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Prof. Dr. Aksoy, &#8220;\u015eu ana kadar \u00fclkemizde MBr&#8217;nin yasaklanmas\u0131yla ilgili \u00fc\u00e7 seminer yap\u0131ld\u0131. Ancak incir sekt\u00f6r\u00fcndeki b\u00fct\u00fcn firmalar\u0131n bu yasaktan haberdar oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek zordur. Sadece birka\u00e7 firma bu konuda kendini haz\u0131rlamaktad\u0131r. Bu nedenle bizim amac\u0131m\u0131z incir sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde 2007 y\u0131l\u0131nda kullan\u0131m\u0131na son verilecek MBr&#8217;ye alternatifler bulmakt\u0131r&#8221; dedi. Konferansa Tari\u015f \u0130ncir Tar\u0131m Sat\u0131\u015flar Kooperatifleri Birli\u011fi, Ankara \u00dcniversitesi Ziraat Fak\u00fcltesi Bitki Koruma B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc ve E.U. Ziraat Fak\u00fcltesi Bah\u00e7e Bitkileri B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc&#8217;nden temsilciler de kat\u0131ld\u0131.
