Bu konuda TCDD ile protokol imzalayan \u0130zmir B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi,  yakla\u015f\u0131k 30 kilometrelik ilave hat \u00fczerindeki 4 istasyon ve 7 adet karayolu alt-\u00fcst ge\u00e7it i\u00e7in proje haz\u0131rl\u0131yor ve yap\u0131m ihalesi haz\u0131rl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyor.\r<br>\r<br>K\u0131sa s\u00fcrede \u0130zmirlilerin vazge\u00e7ilmez toplu ula\u015f\u0131m hatt\u0131 haline gelen Alia\u011fa-Menderes Banliy\u00f6 sistemine yap\u0131lacak ilave hat kapsam\u0131nda Cumaovas\u0131 \u0130stasyonu\u0092ndan sonra Tekeli, Pancar, Torbal\u0131 ve Tepek\u00f6y\u0092de birer istasyon daha yap\u0131lacak. Yine Tekeli, Pancar, Torbal\u0131 ve Tepek\u00f6y\u0092de birer tane; hat boyunca uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclen noktalarda da 3 tane olmak \u00fczere toplam 7 adet karayolu alt-\u00fcst ge\u00e7idi in\u015fa edilecek. \r<br>\r<br>B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi\u0092nin TCDD ile yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 protokole g\u00f6re, istasyon yap\u0131mlar\u0131 ve karayolu alt-\u00fcst ge\u00e7itleri \u0130zmir B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi taraf\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecek. Cumaovas\u0131\u0092ndan Torbal\u0131\u0092ya kadar mevcut tek hat demiryolu ise TCDD taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7ift hatta \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lacak. Hatt\u0131n koruma duvarlar\u0131n\u0131n yap\u0131m\u0131, sinyalizasyon ve elektrifikasyon sistemlerinin Alia\u011fa-Cumaovas\u0131 hatt\u0131na uyumlu bir \u015fekilde Torbal\u0131 Tepek\u00f6y\u0092e kadar uzat\u0131lmas\u0131 yine TCDD taraf\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecek.  \r<br>\r<br>Hatt\u0131n devreye girmesi ile Alia\u011fa\u0092dan ve kent merkezinden binen yolcular Torbal\u0131\u0092ya kadar g\u00fcvenli, h\u0131zl\u0131, kesintisiz ve konforlu yolculuk olana\u011f\u0131na kavu\u015facak. Sel\u00e7uk, Bay\u0131nd\u0131r, Tire ve \u00d6demi\u015f yolcular\u0131 da Torbal\u0131\u0092dan itibaren \u0130zmir merkezine ve oradan da Alia\u011fa\u0092ya kadar rayl\u0131 sistem ile yolculuk yapabilecek.
