Eylemde gazeteci \u00c7etin Eme\u00e7\u0092in \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcl\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcn 21. y\u0131l\u0131 nedeniyle bir dakikal\u0131k sayg\u0131 duru\u015funda bulunuldu. Ellerinde &#8220;\u00d6zg\u00fcr Bas\u0131n Susturulamaz&#8221;, &#8220;Sans\u00fcre, Bask\u0131ya, Bask\u0131na Hay\u0131r&#8221;, &#8220;Gazetecilere \u00d6zg\u00fcrl\u00fck&#8221;, &#8220;Demokrasi \u0130\u00e7in Bas\u0131n \u00d6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc&#8221; gibi d\u00f6vizler ta\u015f\u0131yan gazeteciler, a\u011f\u0131zlar\u0131na siyah bant ba\u011flad\u0131, kalemlerini k\u0131rarak Hasan Tahsin Heykeli \u00f6n\u00fcne b\u0131rakt\u0131. Son tutuklamalarla birlikte cezaevindeki gazeteci say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n 68\u0092e \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirten T\u00fcrkiye Gazeteciler Federasyonu Genel Ba\u015fkan\u0131 ve \u0130zmir Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Atilla Sertel, gazeteciler ve ayd\u0131nlar \u00fczerindeki bask\u0131 ve korku ortam\u0131n\u0131n art\u0131k dayan\u0131lmaz boyutlara gelmesinde t\u00fcm sorumlu\u011fun mevcut siyasi iktidara ait oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi. Sertel, &#8220;Mevcut iktidar sekiz y\u0131ld\u0131r bas\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc konusunda tek bir yasa \u00e7\u0131karmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu iktidar d\u00f6neminde bas\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc konusunda muhalif b\u00fct\u00fcn seslerin \u00fczerine y\u0131ld\u0131rma politikas\u0131 ile gidildiyse, gazetecilerin i\u015flerine son verildiyse, gazetecilerin evleri bas\u0131ld\u0131ysa, tutukland\u0131larsa o \u00fclkede \u00f6zg\u00fcr bas\u0131ndan asla s\u00f6z edilemez.
