Avrupa&#8217;n\u0131n en iyi yenilik aktar\u0131m merkezi se\u00e7ilen IRC-EGE, AB Rekabet\u00e7ilik ve Yenilik\u00e7ilik Program\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda faaliyetlerini geni\u015fleterek Ege Bilgi ve Yenilik Merkezi (EBIC-Ege) olarak 2013 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar devam edecek.  IRC-Ege&#8217;nin faaliyetlerini tamamlamas\u0131n\u0131 kutlamak amac\u0131yla Ege \u00dcniversitesi Kampus K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi&#8217;nde d\u00fczenlenen kokteylde konu\u015fan E\u00dc Rekt\u00f6r\u00fc Prof. Dr. \u00dclk\u00fc Bay\u0131nd\u0131r, &#8220;IRC-Ege, b\u00f6lgedeki firmalar\u0131n Ar-Ge ve inovasyona te\u015fvik edilmesi, ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 fonlar\u0131n tan\u0131t\u0131lmas\u0131 ve T\u00fcrk KOB\u0130&#8217;leri ile AB KOB\u0130&#8217;leri aras\u0131nda teknik ve ticari i\u015f birliklerini geli\u015ftirmek amac\u0131 ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r&#8221; dedi. IRC-Ege&#8217;nin 4 y\u0131lda toplam 67 adet uluslararas\u0131 teknoloji transferine arac\u0131l\u0131k etti\u011fini vurgulayan Prof. Dr. Bay\u0131nd\u0131r, &#8220;Bu teknoloji transferi anla\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n 30&#8217;u T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;den yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131na teknoloji sat\u0131m\u0131 \u015feklinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Bu sonu\u00e7 ile 71 merkez aras\u0131nda, Avrupa Komisyonu IRC-Ege&#8217;yi &#8220;2008 Teknoloji Transferi Performans S\u0131ralamas\u0131&#8221;nda &#8220;En \u0130yi IRC&#8221; se\u00e7mi\u015ftir. IRC-Ege 4 y\u0131ll\u0131k faaliyeti sonucunda b\u00f6lge ekonomisine 42 Milyon Euro d\u00fczeyinde katma de\u011fer yaratm\u0131\u015f ve 260 ki\u015fiye istihdam olana\u011f\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r&#8221; diye konu\u015ftu.
